I sweat so bad, it’s unreal. It can be below freezing and I am still sweating. It’s not only annoying but embarrassing. I don’t know anyone that sweats as bad as me. Why do I sweat so much? Why is this happening to me?

Everyone sweats naturally as a way to cool the body down. We always sweat although we don’t always notice it. Our sweat is generally released by a gland system call the eccrine sweat glands. These glands release sweat when our bodies are overheated.

There are other reasons we sweat, however, such as:

  1. Stress and anxiety:  When you are seriously stressed out or very anxious, your apocrine glands will release sweat. This can happen with any kind of stress or anxiety including nervousness or being very excited.
  2. Food and clothing:  Our bodies will sweat if our clothes are too tight. We also sweat when we eat hot food and beverages. This includes hot-to-the-touch as well as spicy food and beverages.
  3. Medications:  Some medications will make you sweat more than usual. This is just a side effect. Certain antidepressants are known to have this side effect.
  4. Fever:  If your body is running a higher-than-normal temperature, your body will sweat in order to cool down.
  5. Hyperhidrosis:  This is a condition that causes a person to sweat more because their body becomes uncommonly warm and needs to cool down more often.

See your doctor if you are worried about the reason behind your excessive sweating. Worrying and stressing about the sweating will most likely cause you to sweat more. If you want to try some different possible solutions to your sweating issue check out the reference link.

I would see a doctor! It sounds like a medical issue. They could probably see if your sweat glands are overactive. There is a really expensive deodorant that can help sometimes but I would really see a doctor!

I feel your pain! I sweat so much. My armpits, hands and feet are constantly sweating. It really irritates me.

I went to the doctor and he told me I really have 3 choices if I want to get rid of the extra sweating. I can have surgery (not my first choice as it can actually make it worse), expensive Botox shots, or I can take a medication. The medication’s name is Drysol. I think I will start with the medication!

I hope you find your solution!  I know how bad it sucks!
