Why do younger men like older women?

I always have this sexual attraction towards older women. During my high school days, it would be the history teacher, my friends’ mom at times, and the lecturers during university. I heard it is quite common for a younger man to prefer an older woman, something to do with the women being more mature and what not. So, why do younger men like older women?

Some younger men like older women for a pretty simple reason, older women tend to be naturally more motherly, or they are perceived to be that way. The sense of attachment we have towards our own mother carries on to what shape the preference in our women. Men grew up under a loving mother or lack thereof, will gravitate and yearn for that familiar feeling that only older understanding women could possibly offer. It is also why these ‘cougars’ tend to be at their 40s. The child would more likely to have a tangible memory of their mother when she’s at that age too when the child is almost 10. I will argue it is because a woman is at her prime beauty at 40. So boys grow up yearning for the motherly love, a woman’s touch, and only a mature woman could give.

While we tend to think that the desire lies with the men themselves, the women have a lot to offer in a relationship. Cougars are much older, let’s say she is 40 with a partner in his 20s. That would mean 20 more years of relationship and sexual experience with multiple partners, that if she never get married or went to have a divorce. She knows what to do, what to expect in the relationship, she could be what the man would fantasize an ideal girl to be. She has tons of practice, all those years of collected knowledge, no delusion, just practicality, little pressure of the consequences of all the loving. Let’s not forget the sexual confidence. She isn’t afraid to convey her feelings and needs to the man. She knows what she wants and she knows how to deliver it. That is probably the best kind of relationship a man could demand, a transparent girlfriend that knows what the man would love.

As to why do younger men like older women, you may think about the fact that younger men have less experience. They have less self-esteem, with little to no sexual encounter. A relationship is a two-way street, it’s about the satisfaction of both the man and woman. In a sense, a younger man and older woman complete each other. With fewer previous partners, a man being in a relationship with a woman, not to mention an older one, is a real boost to his confidence. He can be with a woman that is more comfortable in bed and less self-conscious, with probably no string attach, no pressure for marriage. The woman on the other hand certainly love the attention she is getting. She doesn’t have to be insecure with her bodies, confidence is sexy, probably too late to do anything about it anyways. She has the personality and the looks, all she needs is someone to flatter her and keep her company. While her beauty is fading, might as well make full use of it. She is the epitome of what a relationship could be, a fantasy only she could offer, a somewhat easy date for the man. Just hope she doesn’t have kids.
